ISOTHERMAL COVER
Used to prevent evaporation
The isothermal cover is primarily used to prevent evaporation, which is the leading cause of water and heat loss.
It contributes to cost reduction through:
- Lower energy consumption for heated pools;
- Better temperature retention for unheated pools;
- Simplified maintenance, as the cover traps leaves, dust, and insects before they reach the water or floor;
- Reduced chemical usage for water conditioning;
- Reduced water consumption.
These covers are available in two systems: “air bubble” or “multi-layer” (consisting of a closed-cell polyethylene foam). For quick covering and uncovering, a reel system is used, available in manual, automatic, fixed, or mobile versions.
AUTOMATIC COVER
Built with Rigid, Internally Insulated PVC Profiles
Floating automatic covers consist of rigid PVC profiles with internal insulation. They protect the water surface from impurities and help limit evaporation and heat loss.
The system can be installed as a submerged (recessed) model hidden within the pool, or an above-ground model on the pool deck. For existing pools, the external roller can be fitted with a protective housing coordinated with the surrounding environment.
The slat cover is available with “Standard” or “Magnum” profiles, which differ in size and insulation thickness. The inclusion of an anemometer (wind sensor) allows the cover to automatically retract in the event of strong winds.
TELESCOPIC COVER
Consisting of Modular Aluminum Elements
Telescopic covers (or enclosures) are made of aluminum modules available in various shapes and heights. They create a protected space around the pool and significantly extend the swimming season.
The greenhouse effect generated inside can increase the water temperature by 8–10 °C, while adding a heating system allows the pool to be used even in the coldest months. The structure must be chosen and sized according to the environmental conditions and the specific characteristics of the installation site.
